God’s judgment upon America is in much the same way that He brought judgment upon Israel when they rejected Him and they were carried into Babylon. God’s current judgment on America is not a swift judgment that instantly punishes or kills a person who disobeys Him. God is patient and His judgment is light at first and He has given America many years to repent and turn to Him and follow Him and His commands.
Most people do not realize the multifaceted aspect and length of God’s judgment on the Jewish people in the Old Testament; and how few people were actually carried into Babylon. In the same way, God’s judgment on America has been in process for over 60 years, and most people have not recognized it because they are looking at the wrong things.
Are you looking for something more than just the same old concepts, interpretations, explanations, and perspectives you have heard regurgitated over and over again? This website will give you some new insights and things to think about. You may not agree with everything you read, but Biblical Research Reports will stimulate your thinking. Our goal is to help you to formulate in your own mind what is Jesus’ truth as you look at the research we share on the various subjects facing the Church.
The sins of the people in the USA are great. There has been a large-scale rejection of God and His commands. As part of the rejection of God, many Americans hold to the belief that God did not create the world and that the world and people came into being by chance – the belief in evolution.
God is a holy and righteous God. He is a loving, patient, and caring God, who gives grace, mercy and peace to those who love Him and keep His commands. But, God is also a just God. He requires obedience to what He has told us to do and He brings judgment on those who reject Him and/or who do not keep His commands. In the Old Testament God brought judgment on the Children of Israel and on the surrounding nations because they rejected Him and did not follow what He had told them to do.
God tells us in the New Testament in addition to what He states in the Old Testament, that He will bring judgment for sin and disobedience to what He has commanded:
“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;” (Romans 1:18)
“For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.” (2 Peter 2:20-21)
“Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.” (Revelation 2:20-23)
Three Main Events of Rejecting God in Recent American History
There are three main events in recent American history where the government rejected God and the rest of the country has gone along with it. In the years since these events, neither the Republican Party nor the Democratic Party, nor any other political party has sided with God and made a real attempt to overturn these court rulings. After each of these events there was a distinct increase in diseases and illnesses as God brought judgment on America.
- Public Bible reading and prayer were prohibited in public schools. On June 25, 1962, the US Supreme Court the Court ruled that it is unconstitutional for state officials to compose an official school prayer and encourage its recitation in public schools. The following year, 1963, the Supreme Court made the corporate reading of the Bible and recitation of the Lord’s Prayer unlawful in public schools. As we look at a number of statistics, 1962 marks the year when significant parts of God’s judgment on America started.
- The legalizing of abortion, the killing of unborn babies was made legal in 1973.
- In 1980 America further rejected God with the Supreme Court ruling against the display of the Ten Commandments on public property. 1980 marks a significant increase in God’s judgment on America.
It is not just these court rulings alone that have resulted in God’s judgment, but the people in America have accepted these court rulings and accepted the mindset and beliefs that have gone along with them. Even among Christians, there have been few that have pushed their politicians to have these events overturned especially the first and third events.
There have been many other events too:
- In the 1960’s evolution began to be widely taught in public schools.
- The hippie movement began in the early 1960’s with the baby boom generation. It was a movement characterized by rebellion against authority and society.
- The women’s liberation movement began in the late 1960’s. It was a rebellion against God’s design that the husband be the head of the home. As a result of the women’s lib movement, many women entered the workforce and left much of the training and upbringing of their children to others.
Christians in America are Receiving God’s Judgment too
It is not just non-Christians in American who are receiving God’s judgment, but so are Christians in many churches and denominations as well. The Christian church in America, by and large, has become carnal and apostate. A high percentage of Americans call themselves Christians and there is a form of godliness, but sin and wickedness abounds among professing Christians. They are part of the reason for God’s judgment on America.
The following is a few of those sins:
- High rates of sexual abuse exist in many churches, including or perhaps especially, in conservative churches.
- 77 percent of Christian men between the ages of 18 and 30 view pornography at least monthly. www.onenewsnow.com/culture/2014/10/09/survey-alarming-rate-of-christian-men-look-at-porn-commit-adultery
- Among married Christian men, 35 percent have committed adultery in an extramarital affair. https://www.onenewsnow.com/culture/2014/10/09/survey-alarming-rate-of-christian-men-look-at-porn-commit-adultery
- A high percentage of professing Christians are living in adultery in church approved divorce and remarriage relationships.
There are also many other sins and false teachings that are prevalent in churches today.
It is for these reasons, and for not putting Jesus first in their lives that many Christians in America are also receiving God’s judgment along with the rest of the country. “Be not deceived; <strong>God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” (Galatians 6:7)
God also tells us: “And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;” (Romans 2:3-9)
It is important to say too that to some degree, we all are affected by God’s judgment because we live here in America.
God’s Judgment on America Since 1962
Debt
Government, business, and individual debt have increased significantly since the early 1960’s. God said that He would bring judgment upon Israel by forcing them to borrow from foreigners. (Deuteronomy 28:43-44). We see the same thing happening in America as our country is rapidly sinking deep into massive amounts of debt with no hope of ever being able to repay the debt and stop the downward debt spiral. Debt is a deceiver. It gives the illusion of an increase in income; of success, wealth, and prosperity until the day of reckoning when the debt has to be repaid and there is not enough money to pay it. Foreign countries, such as Japan and China, hold a significant amount of the U.S. debt. Foreigners also own a lot of real estate in the USA.
The monetary systems of the United States and most other countries are based on debt. Money is created when a loan is made, but the money to pay the interest on the loan is not created. Therefore, there has to be increasing amounts of debt created in order for there to be enough money to pay the interest. There are never enough dollars in existence to pay off all the debt and interest. It is a debt spiral that has to keep growing.
A debt-based money system is also a deceiver. It is not the representation of true wealth. The United States money system is based, not on labor, but on debt which is the promise of future labor to pay the debt.
Credit cards went national in 1965. Since then, credit card and other personal debt have skyrocketed. Each year, Americans, as a whole, are going deeper and deeper into debt and are racking up massive amounts of private debt. College debt is growing. Businesses have likewise accumulated enormous amounts of debt. The USA is a debtor nation.
An economy based on debt is fundamentally flawed. It is likely being judged by God as God told Israel in the following passage:
“The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low. He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail. Moreover, all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:” (Deuteronomy 28:43-45)
Financial Consultant, Bill Bonner in the article The Fatal Flaw that has Doomed Our Economy states:
“Not one person in 1,000 realizes it, but America’s money changed on August 15, 1971. After that, not even foreign governments could exchange their dollars for gold at a fixed rate. The dollar still looked the same. It still acted the same. It still could be used to buy booze and cigarettes. But it was flawed money. And it changed the whole world economy in a fundamental way… a way that is just now coming into focus.
“The Old Testament tells us that God chased Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden with this curse: ‘By the sweat of your brow, you will earn your food until you return to the ground.’ From then on, you worked… you earned money… you could buy bread. Or lend it out. Or invest it.
“Dollars – or any form of real money – were compensation… for work, for risk taking, for accumulating knowledge and capital.
“Money is information. It tells us how much reward we’ve earned… how much things cost… how much profit, how much loss, how much something is worth… how much we’ve saved, how much we’ve spent, how much we need, and how much we’ve got. Money doesn’t have to be ‘hard’ or ‘soft’ or expensive or cheap. But it has to be honest. Otherwise, the whole system runs into a ditch.
“But the new money was a phony. It put the cart ahead of the horse. This was money that no one ever had to break a sweat to get. It was based on credit – the anticipation of work, not work that had already been done.
“Money no longer represented wealth. It now represented anti-wealth: debt. So, the economy stopped producing real wealth. The Fed could create money that no one ever earned and no one ever saved. It was no longer the real thing, but a counterfeit.
“In this way, effort and reward were cut off from one another. The working man still had to labor. But it was the banker, gambler, speculator, lender, financier, investor, politician, or inside operator who made the money. And the nature of the economy changed. Instead of rewarding the productive Main Street economy, it rewarded insiders… and the financial sector.” (emphasis added)

“The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.” (Proverbs 22:7)
Sickness, disease, and healthcare costs have rapidly increased since 1962 and are part of God’s judgment on America:
When we look at how God punished the Children of Israel in the Old Testament for rejecting Him we find some parallels to what is happening in God’s judgment on America today.
“For the punishment of the iniquity of the daughter of my people is greater than the punishment of the sin of Sodom, that was overthrown as in a moment, and no hands stayed on her. Her Nazarites were purer than snow, they were whiter than milk, they were more ruddy in body than rubies, their polishing was of sapphire: Their visage is blacker than a coal; they are not known in the streets: their skin cleaveth to their bones; it is withered, it is become like a stick. They that be slain with the sword are better than they that be slain with hunger: for these pine away, stricken through for want of the fruits of the field.” (Lamentations 4:6-9)
God said that He would give a greater punishment to those whose sins and iniquities are more wicked than Sodom and Gomorrah, by making their death slower, rather than a sudden death. The people in Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed in a moment. They did not know that their death was coming. Today, many Americans do not die a quick death. They die a slow, lingering death which is often prolonged by modern medicine. Drugs, surgery, chemotherapy, and other medical procedures often make the suffering at the end of life worse without adding to the quality of the additional length of life that they give. Starvation is the cause of death for many in the final days of their hospice care. They are sedated with drugs to make them “comfortable”. At that point they can no longer eat or drink and a lack of food and water is what takes them. “They that be slain with the sword are better than they that be slain with hunger: for these pine away, stricken through for want of the fruits of the field.”
I suspect that the “making them comfortable” can actually be a horrible way to die, based on an incident that happened to my uncle. In discussing this incident, I am not saying that God was judging this uncle, but I am sharing it as an illustration of how the system works, that “making them comfortable” may not be comfortable and could be part of assisted death. While this uncle was under hospice care, he was given a medication in which the side affect prevented him from swallowing. My aunt, who is a nurse, noticed it and stopped the medication. My uncle made her promise to never let them give that medicine to him again. It was awful.
God told the Children of Israel that if they did not follow His commands, He would bring upon them the diseases of Egypt and other rare diseases. He also stated that they would have a long, lingering death – “of long continuance”: “If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD; Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance. Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee. Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed. And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because thou wouldest not obey the voice of the LORD thy God. (Deuteronomy 28:58-62)
This passage helps us to understand how God works and how He punishes sin. We are no longer under the Old Testament Law. Instead, we are commanded to keep all of God’s commands in the New Testament. It is some of those commands in the New Testament that many Christians in America today are not keeping, and they are reaping the judgment of God on their lives with sickness and poor health. At the same time, it is important to understand that we can’t use reverse logic and judge everyone that has cancer or any other disease and say that they are sick because of their sins. Jesus said that we cannot judge individuals that way (John 9:1-3).
But God does tell us how he brings a greater punishment upon a people whose sins are greater than the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah. They will have long, lingering illnesses. Here in America, people have a long life expectancy, and people assume that God’s judgment for sin is not happening because people are living longer. Instead, God is judging sin differently than what most people realize. The last years of life for many are miserable years. It is characterized by sickness, hospital visits, medications, and living in nursing homes. I asked my one uncle how he liked living in a nursing home. He said with feeling, “Myron, it is hard to describe what it is like to live with people who are not in full use of their minds.” The quality of life in the last years is very poor. Benjamin Franklin said it well when he said “Many people die at twenty five and aren’t buried until they are seventy five.”
A big indicator of God’s judgment is that the health of Americans today is so poor that health care, or rather caring for the sick, is now one of the largest industries in America.
Sadly, there appears to be no difference between the health of Christians and non-Christians. God has brought judgment upon churches in America just like He has on the rest of the country. Most churches have disobeyed God and added to and subtracted from the commands that Jesus has given to us in the New Testament. As a result there is a lot of sin, immorality (including divorce and remarriage, and pornography), hidden sexual abuse, and spiritual lukewarmness in many churches. They have focused on the grace of God and turned the grace of God into a license to sin (Jude 1:4). They pray for healing, but for many God does not answer their prayer. God is looking for their repentance and turning to Him with all their heart. Jesus wants Christians to follow not only the first half of the Great Commission, which is evangelism, but also the second half: “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:20).
God’s Judgment on America Since 1973
In 1973, abortion legalized the killing of unwanted babies. For many of us, it appeared that God had done nothing about bringing judgment on America for the legalization of abortion. BUT, since 1973 the sperm cell count of men has decreased over 50% and there is no sign of the decline slowing down! Scientists have not been able to determine the cause of the decline. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/08/16/health/male-sperm-count-problem.html
An article in the Washington post states: “Researchers estimated that these men had an average sperm concentration of 99 million per milliliter in 1973 but that that had dropped to an average 47 million per milliliter in 2011.
“That is a disturbing number given that, according to World Health Organization criteria, men with a sperm concentration of less than 40 million are considered to have an impaired chance of conceiving and those with a sperm concentration of less than 15 million per milliliter are unlikely to be able to have children…
“The issue of sperm isn’t just about having babies. It has larger implications for men’s health. Poor sperm health has been linked to cardiovascular issues, obesity, cancer and more generally to higher rates of hospitalization and death… ‘Having a low sperm count is a signal,’ Swan said, ‘that there’s something wrong in men’s health overall.’” www.washingtonpost.com/news/to-your-health/wp/2017/07/25/sperm-concentration-has-declined-50-percent-in-40-years/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.b8954dc0b009
When it comes to sperm cell count, men today are only half the man that men were in 1972.
God’s judgment on America for the killing of innocent babies by abortion is more extensive than just reduced sperm cell count, and we will be covering it a little later.
God’s Judgment on America Since 1980
1980 marks the year when God’s judgment on America intensified.
The Supreme Court of the US in 1980 ruled that the posting of the Ten Commandments was not constitutional. As a result of that ruling, God’s judgment on America significantly increased.
The Supreme Court stated in their ruling: “If the posted copies of the Ten Commandments are to have any effects at all, it will be to induce the schoolchildren to read, meditate upon, perhaps to venerate and obey, the Commandments…this…is not a permissible state objective under the Establishment Clause.” Stone v. Graham, 1980
God’s Judgment on America – The Incredible Increase in Prisoners starting in 1980
God in effect told America that if they did not want His commandments such as: “Do not steal” and “Do not kill” to be followed, He would prove their governing model to be a failure. Note the judgment of God on America with the incredible increase in crime since 1980!

God’s Judgment on America – Major increase in School Shootings
Prior to 1989, there were only a handful of incidents in which two or more non-perpetrators were killed by firearms at a school. From 1989 to 2018, there were over 50 such incidents. (Wikipedia Article “List of School Shootings in the US”) Remember, the Supreme Court stated in their 1980 ruling: “If the posted copies of the Ten Commandments are to have any effects at all, it will be to induce the schoolchildren to read, meditate upon, perhaps to venerate and obey, the Commandments…this…is not a permissible state objective under the Establishment Clause.” Stone v. Graham, 1980
One of the Ten Commandments is “Thou shalt not kill”. Part of God’s judgment on America is reaping the consequences of ignoring the command “Thou shalt not kill” with all the school shootings. The focus on stricter gun control laws is not addressing the root problem and will not solve the school shooting problem.
God’s Judgment on America – Economic problems began with Reagan in the early 1980’s
Economist Paul Krugman in the New York Times, writes:
“For the more one looks into the origins of the current disaster, the clearer it becomes that the key wrong turn — the turn that made crisis inevitable — took place in the early 1980s, during the Reagan years.
“Attacks on Reaganomics usually focus on rising inequality and fiscal irresponsibility. Indeed, Reagan ushered in an era in which a small minority grew vastly rich, while working families saw only meager gains. He also broke with longstanding rules of fiscal prudence.
“On the latter point: traditionally, the U.S. government ran significant budget deficits only in times of war or economic emergency. Federal debt as a percentage of G.D.P. fell steadily from the end of World War II until 1980. But indebtedness began rising under Reagan; it fell again in the Clinton years, but resumed its rise under the Bush administration, leaving us ill prepared for the emergency now upon us.
“The increase in public debt was, however, dwarfed by the rise in private debt, made possible by financial deregulation. The change in America’s financial rules was Reagan’s biggest legacy. And it’s the gift that keeps on taking.”

God’s Judgment on America – New Diseases
During the past 20 years, at least 30 new diseases have emerged, for many of which there is no treatment, cure or vaccine, or the possibility of effective prevention or control.

God’s Judgment on America – Americans die younger than others in rich nations
USA Today reports,
“Americans live sicker and die younger than people in other wealthy countries – and the gap is getting worse over time, a new report shows.
“Men in the USA have shorter lives than men in 16 developed nations. American women also fall near the bottom of the list, living 5.2 fewer years than Japanese women, who live the longest.
“Americans ‘have a long-standing pattern of poorer health that is strikingly consistent and pervasive’ over a person’s lifetime, says the report, from the Institute of Medicine and the National Research Council, independent, non-profit groups that advise the federal government on health…
“The tragedy is not that the United States is losing a contest with other countries,” the report says, “but that Americans are dying and suffering from illness and injury at rates that are demonstrably unnecessary.”
“The USA ranks at or near the bottom in nine key areas of health: low birth weight; injuries and homicides; teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections; HIV and AIDS; drug-related deaths; obesity and diabetes; heart disease; chronic lung disease; and general disability.
“These poor outcomes are especially depressing, because the USA spends twice as much on healthcare — about $9,000 per person — as other industrial countries, says Gerard Anderson of the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, who was not involved in the report…
“It’s becoming increasingly clear that the first 1,000 days of life are critically important for children’s development, and can determine the course of their life span from then on,” McInerny says. “Investing in children in the first three years of life provides higher returns, for improving their productivity as adults, compared to intervening later.”
http://www.floridatoday.com/usatoday/article/1818903
God’s Judgment on America – Massive increase in Health Care Costs
The Kaiser Family Foundation states:
“Health spending is rising faster than incomes in most developed countries, which raises questions about how countries will pay for their future health care needs. The issue is particularly acute in the United States, which not only spends much more per capita on health care, but also has had one of the highest spending growth rates. Both public and private health expenditures are growing at rates which outpace comparable countries. Despite this higher level of spending, the United States does not achieve better outcomes on many important health measures.”
http://www.kff.org/insurance/snapshot/OECD042111.cfm
And the cost of healthcare continues to increase with no end in sight. Obamacare, instead of reducing costs as promised, increased healthcare costs even further.
God’s Judgment on America – Significant Increase in disease in the last 60+ years since 1962
It is difficult to find statistics for various diseases that show the number of cases for each year. But where you can find them, you will often find that, starting in 1962, there was a significant increase, and in 1980 there was another, even more dramatic increase. The increases in these diseases are much higher than the population growth rate. Please note, we are looking here at trends in America. Just because a Christian has one of these diseases or illnesses does not mean that God is judging them personally (see John 9:2,3), however He may be.
ADHD
“The increase in the number of prescriptions doctors write for treating ADHD is staggering. According to the Congressional Testimony of Terrance Woodworth, a deputy director of the Drug Enforcement Administration, the number of prescriptions written for methylphenidate [Ritalin] has increased by a factor of five [500%] since 1991.
“The increasing use of stimulant medication to treat ADHD in the United States differs significantly from practices in the rest of the world, according to United Nations data, Woodworth said. The U.S. produces and consumes about 85 percent of the world’s production of methylphenidate…
“The number of preschool children being treated with medication for ADHD tripled between 1990 and 1995.
“The number of children ages 15 to 19 taking medication for ADHD has increased by 311 percent over 15 years.”

AIDS/HIV
“AIDS was first recognized by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in 1981 and its cause—HIV infection—was identified in the early part of the decade. AIDS has caused nearly 36 million deaths (as of 2012). As of 2012, approximately 35.3 million people were living with HIV globally. AIDS is considered a pandemic—a disease outbreak which is present over a large area and is actively spreading.” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AIDS
The CDC website states that “An estimated 1,122,900 adults and adolescents were living with HIV at the end of 2015… From 1987 (the first year HIV was listed as a cause of death on death certificates) through 2015, 507,351 people died from HIV disease.” https://www.cdc.gov/hiv/statistics/overview/ataglance.html
Alzheimer’s Disease
Alzheimer’s disease was virtually unknown before 1960. It had been discovered in 1907 but then had decreased in occurrence. In the 1960’s the incidence of Alzheimer’s Disease was 2% in people over the age of 85 years, whereas in 2018, the incidence of Alzheimer’s Disease for those over 85 is 50%. It is 20% over the age of 75 years, and 10% in individuals over the age of 65 years.
By 2018 Alzheimer’s had become the sixth leading cause of death in the United States. An estimated 5.7 million Americans of all ages had Alzheimer’s. https://www.alz.org/alzheimers-dementia/facts-figures
Asthma
Asthma was rare in 1900. Now it is considered an epidemic. It kills 5,000 Americans yearly, and 180,000 worldwide according to the World Health Organization. Asthma is now the most common childhood chronic disease. (Scientific American, June 2000, pg 30 “Asthma Worldwide”)
The rise in asthma was 42% in the US from 1982 – 1992. The death rate rose 40% from 1982-1991.
http://www.msgtruth.org/disease.htm
The Center for Disease Control reviewed 15-year trends in asthma prevalence. The data from 1980 to 1994 showed a 75% increase in asthma prevalence for all ages.
www.jacionline.org/article/S0091-6749%2899%2970268-X/fulltext
Asthma prevalence increased from 7.3% of the population in 2001 to 8.4% in 2010, when 25.7 million persons had asthma.
http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/databriefs/db94.htm
By 2016 26.5 million people had Asthma, of those 6.1 million were under the age of 18. https://www.cdc.gov/asthma/most_recent_data.htm
Dr. Carey Reams stated that asthma was the result of too little calcium in the body. From some of what I have seen, I believe that he may be right. The research reported in “Air pollution and asthma: clinical studies with sulfuric acid aerosols” shows that sulfuric acid vapors have a significant affect on asthma. It stands to reason that a higher level of calcium in the body would result in the sulfuric acid having less of an impact. The daughter of one of our farm customers had a bad case of asthma until she started drinking raw milk.

Breast Cancer
Breast cancer is the most common cancer among American women, except for skin cancers. About 1 in 8 (12%) women in the US will develop invasive breast cancer during their lifetime.
“As of March 2017, there are more than 3.1 million women with a history of breast cancer in the U.S. This includes women currently being treated and women who have finished treatment.”
www.breastcancer.org/symptoms/understand_bc/statistics
Breast-cancer incidence increased from 68,000 cases to 184,300 between 1970 and 1996.
www.ratical.org/radiation/CNR/PBC/table1F.html
“About 85% of breast cancers occur in women who have no family history of breast cancer. These occur as a result of the aging process and life in general, rather than inherited mutations.”

Celiac Disease and Food Allergies
2009 – “Rates of celiac disease are four times higher today than they were just fifty years ago, according to the results of a new study by scientists at the Mayo clinic. In addition, the study showed that people with undiagnosed celiac disease died at rates four times higher than non-celiacs over the 45 year follow-up period.”
“1990s—Early in the decade, doctors thought celiac disease to be rare and affect just 40,000 or so Americans. Over the last decade or so, the number of Americans diagnosed with celiac disease has nearly tripled, to 110,000, but that’s just the start. The National Institutes of Health now estimates that about 1% of the population, or about 3 million people suffer from celiac disease, and that only about 3% of existing cases have been diagnosed. A full 97% of celiac cases remain undiagnosed. That’s about 2.9 million people who remain undiagnosed and in danger. More and more of those who are diagnosed are reporting no symptoms.
“1997 to 2007, the number of people under-18 diagnosed with food or digestive allergies rose nearly 20%, and nearly 3 million young people now suffer from food allergies. About 12 million Americans suffer from a food allergy, according to the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, with nearly 90% of all food allergies arising from reactions to just seven foods: Cow’s milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, soy and wheat.”
Food Allergies are Increasing
Food allergies are a growing health concern. In the ten years between 1997 and 2007 the CDC reported an 18 percent increase in food allergies among children. But by 2011, only four years later, the CDC reports that food allergies among children had increased approximately 50% between 1997 and 2011. That is a significant jump in four years time.
Diabetes
From 1980 through 2010, the prevalence of diagnosed diabetes increased by 176% (from 2.5% to 6.9%). During this period, increases in the crude and age-adjusted prevalence of diagnosed diabetes were similar, indicating that most of the increase in prevalence was not because of changes in the population age structure.
www.cdc.gov/diabetes/statistics/prev/national/figage.htm
Other statistics show that diabetes is found in 8% of the population.
Heart Disease
“The costs of treating heart disease are expected to triple by the year 2030, creating an ‘enormous financial burden’ for millions of Americans, the American Heart Association says in a new policy statement.
“The tab for treating heart disease will rise to $545 billion over the next 20 years, in large part because of the aging of the baby boom population, the oldest of which will be in their mid-80s by then.” www.webmd.com/heart-disease/news/20110123/heart-disease-treatment-costs-may-triple-in-next-20-years
According to the statistics about heart disease, coronary artery disease was a rarity in America prior to 1920. But by the mid 1950’s, it topped the list as the leading cause of death among Americans and it remains so even today. www.healthychoices4life.com/statistics-about-heart-disease.html
Osteoporosis
Osteoporosis was a disease of the ancient Egyptians (http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/oa.978/pdf) and was one of the diseases that God said He would put on the Children of Israel if they did not follow His commands.
Osteoporosis is a result of insufficient calcium in one’s diet or other dietary factors that deplete calcium in the body.
“Osteoporosis is big news – and big business – these days. As a disease, it emerged out of obscurity only two decades ago to become a concern for women throughout the industrialized world.”
www.life-enthusiast.com/osteoporosis-the-bones-of-contention-a-864.html
“By 2020 half of all Americans over age 50 will be at risk of Osteoporatic fractures. The cost to treat Osteoporosis by 2020 will exceed the cost to treat all diseases except heart disease.”
http://www.sanfaustino.com/us/osteoporosis/
The dramatic increase of osteoporosis in recent years is a strong indicator of God’s judgment for sin in light of what we will look at in this next section.
God’s Judgment on the Soil in America – Brimstone
God said: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land (soil).” (2 Chronicles 7:14)
Osteoporosis and many other diseases are a result of God’s judgment on the soil in America. A number of years ago, someone pointed out that when God brings judgment for sin, He often brings judgment on the land (soil) first. God brought to my attention that the word brimstone is another name for sulfur and that the acid in acid rain is sulfuric acid. In other words, acid rain, to use Biblical terms, is raining brimstone on the earth.
Notice what God said in the Old Testament about His judgment on the land for sin. There are some important things for us to understand and pay attention to. He said that He would send acid rain. It first happened in the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.
“Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven.” (Genesis 19:24)
In giving instructions to the Children of Israel, God told them that if they rejected Him, He would turn the land into brimstone, salt and burning.
Deuteronomy 29:18-29 Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood; 19 And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst: 20 The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven. 21 And the LORD shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this book of the law: 22 So that the generation to come of your children that shall rise up after you, and the stranger that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses which the LORD hath laid upon it; 23 And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath: 24 Even all nations shall say, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this land? what meaneth the heat of this great anger? 25 Then men shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt: 26 For they went and served other gods, and worshipped them, gods whom they knew not, and whom he had not given unto them: 27 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book: 28 And the LORD rooted them out of their land in anger, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day. 29 The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
We can see from how God worked in the past that:
- The increase of sickness and disease was part of God’s judgment for sin.
- God put sulfur and salt on the land of Israel and it became desert, a barren and unproductive land. Many commercial fertilizers today are salt fertilizers and/or have sulfur in them. Irrigation, unlike rain water, adds significant amounts of salts to the soil over time.
- Diseases and health problems occurred when the land had too much sulfur, acid rain, and salt applied to it. In that same way, the chemical salt fertilizers that are used today in conventional non-organic agriculture would also cause disease. V.22,23
- While this is addressing the old covenant Law, I believe that God is doing a similar thing today of what He states in verse 29. God reveals His secrets of what causes disease and sickness to increase to His children so that we will fear Him.
“The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men. 5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. 6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.” (Psalms 11:4-6)
- God sends acid rain as punishment for sin. Fertilizer companies promoting sulfur fertilizers are also part of God’s judgment on our land. I was at a farmer meeting in a church basement one time. A salesman from a fertilizer company said that his favorite fertilizer was sulfur. Later I realized how ironic it was that a salesman selling the element of God’s judgment was promoting it in a church building.
“Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it. For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter… For it is the day of the LORD’S vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion. And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch. It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it forever and ever. But the cormorant and the bittern shall possess it; the owl also and the raven shall dwell in it: and he shall stretch out upon it the line of confusion, and the stones of emptiness.” (Isaiah 34:1-2, 8-11)
- God stated that when He would bring judgment on the land because of sin, he would add sulfur to the soil. When the soil has a high sulfur content, it becomes a desert. There is a lack of rain and the land is unproductive.
“And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man’s sword shall be against his brother. And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.” (Ezekiel 38:21-23)
- God again stated that He judged sin by sending acid rain and putting sulfur in the soil destroying its ability to sustain life. “An overflowing rain” seems to indicate soil erosion and loss of topsoil.
Here in America, God has been judging our country for a number of years because of sin. We have a problem of acid rain. In addition, many fertilizers contain sulfur. The acid in the acid rain is reacting with the calcium in the soil. The soil is being depleted of calcium and is gradually being reduced to where it will not support healthy life.

The Importance of Calcium
One day I was asking God to teach me how to farm and He brought to my mind the account in the Bible of the enormous cluster of grapes that the two spies carried on a pole between them when the Children of Israel spied out the land of Canaan. As I was meditating on that and wondering what was in the soil that grew such a large cluster of grapes, God showed me where He hid the answer. In most of the world, when minerals and other nutrients leach out of the soil, they wash into streams, then rivers, and into the ocean. The history of the soil is lost forever. But in Israel, the minerals and nutrients wash into the Dead Sea. The sediment layers of the Dead Sea hold the secret of the soil composition that produced that large cluster of grapes and the strong, healthy people that the children of Israel were afraid of.
I went to the National Agricultural Library in Greenbelt, MD and researched the sediment layers in the Dead Sea. In the Dead Sea sediment layers there are two thick calcium layers 4 to 8 inches thick. These two layers contain gypsum, aragonite, and high calcium calcite, three forms of calcium.
Dr. Carey Reams, a farming consultant who had amazing success in producing high quality food, taught that high calcium lime was an important element to be applied to the soil. I wondered if what he said was true, why would gypsum be in the layers rather than high calcium limestone? As I further meditated on the things that God had showed me, God showed me something else.
Gypsum is calcium sulfate dihydrate. I believe the reason why the layers in the Dead Sea have gypsum rather than high calcium lime is because of this: God said that He would destroy the soil in Israel by raining brimstone (acid rain or sulfuric acid) on the land. Sulfuric acid, when combined with high calcium lime, becomes gypsum. Gypsum is much more water soluble than high calcium limestone. It was then washed out of the soil into the Dead Sea. The one layer of calcium in the Dead Sea could have come from the acid rain that God sent in the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and the second layer years later when God judged Israel for their wickedness and sent them into exile in Babylon. (Note however, only about 13,000 Jews were actually carried into captivity. Most of the people died in their homeland in God’s judgment on the land! 2Kings 24:14; Jeremiah 52:28).
Christians and Churches are also responsible for God’s Judgment on the Land in America
Most churches are responsible for one of the causes of God judgment on the soil in America. God said that if the hearts of the fathers were not turned to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers, He would smite the earth with a curse.
Malachi 4:5-6 “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.”
God said He will curse the earth if the hearts of the fathers are not turned to their children and the hearts of the children are not turned to their fathers. American Christians have not recognized the seriousness of this, and they are reaping God’s judgment of sickness in their lives for turning the hearts of the fathers away from the children and the hearts of the children away from their fathers. The design of meetings and education in building-based churches tends to turn the hearts of children to their peers and to others and away from their fathers. It tends to turn the hearts of the fathers away from their children and towards other men. The following are some of the practices in most churches in America today that separate parents and children and turn the hearts of children away from their parents to their peers and the hearts of fathers away from their children. Most churches would view theses things as very important parts, and even necessary parts of their church, but there is no command for them in the New Testament:
- Nursery/child care
- Sunday school
- Children’s church
- Children’s clubs
- Youth groups, adult groups, etc.
- Christian schools
In addition, many churches have permitted divorce and remarriage of their church members and the divorce rate in some churches is higher than in the rest of society. Divorce destroys the family unit and is the most destructive act on a family that can be made. Divorce is the opposite of turning the heart of the father to the children and the children to the father. The high divorce rate among professing Christians is another reason for God’s judgment on America – “And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.”
God’s Judgment on America – Breaking the Staff of Bread
Throughout the Bible, one of God’s methods of judgment was “breaking the staff of bread”. Bread was a staff (support of life) upon which the people depended. God would break the staff by sending famine and crop failure so that there was not enough bread. He would also curse the bread itself so that people would eat and not be satisfied.
“And when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.” (Leviticus 26:26)
The word staff means a support of life. God told the Israelites if they would not follow him, He would make the food so that it would not support life. He also said that the food would not satisfy. That is exactly what is happening with a growing number of people who eat wheat. They have a craving to eat more and don’t feel satisfied.
“Ten women shall bake your bread in one oven” – this describes what is happening today. Factories are mass producing bread and selling it by weight. Buying most types of bread in the store is not a convenience; it is part of God’s curse.
Today, there is plenty of bread in the stores. Yet, behind the scenes, it seems that God is breaking the staff of bread. Dr. William Davis, in his book Wheat Belly, reports that the genetic makeup of wheat has been altered through breeding over the last 50 years, to where it does not have the nutritional content that it used to have.
In addition, much of the bread is white bread, which is even more nutritionally empty. White flour is made by separating out the nutritious bran and germ of the wheat, leaving only the starchy endosperm. It looks pretty and tastes good, but it is so devoid of nutrients that it must be “enriched” to sustain life. However, this “enrichment” does not truly put back everything that was removed in the refining process.
Gluten intolerance has also become a major problem. Many people are highly allergic to gluten—the protein of wheat. Some react so badly that they cannot even go into a kitchen where flour is used, even if there is no flour used while they are in the kitchen.
In many store bought breads there are hidden ingredients that are harmful to one’s health such as residues of farm chemicals including glyphosate, ingredients made with genetically modified grains such as vegetable oil, residues of bleaching agents used to make white flour, and preservatives sprayed on the inside of the bag. The article, Scary Ingredients Used in Bread Manufacturing explains more about harmful ingredients in bread. It analyses the ingredients of a number of name brand breads and explains the health dangers of some of the ingredients. http://naturallysavvy.com/eat/scary-ingredients-used-in-bread-manufacturing
In short, because of God’s judgment for sin, the food that is repeatedly mentioned as the most basic throughout the Bible (bread) no longer nourishes American properly.
Psalms 105:16 “Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he brake the whole staff of bread.”
- Here, breaking the staff of bread refers to famine, not the altering of the wheat.
Isaiah 3:1 “For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water,”
- Stay – H4937 “a support (concretely), that is, (figuratively) a protector or sustenance: – ” Strong’s Hebrew and Greek Dictionaries
- Staff – This is a different word than in the previous passages. H4938 “support (abstractly), that is, (figuratively) sustenance or (concretely) a walking stick: – ” Strong’s Hebrew and Greek Dictionaries
Ezekiel 4:16 “Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with care; and they shall drink water by measure, and with astonishment”.
Ezekiel 5:16 “When I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine, which shall be for their destruction, and which I will send to destroy you: and I will increase the famine upon you, and will break your staff of bread:”
Ezekiel 14:13 “Son of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it:”
Egyptians Ate White Bread
One of the things that the ancient Egyptians ate was white bread. We are told, “When the chief baker saw that the interpretation was good, he said unto Joseph, I also was in my dream, and, behold, I had three white baskets on my head:” (Genesis 40:16)
The word translated “white” means white bread. This is an interesting detail that God gives us into what the Egyptians were eating and what might have been one of the things that contributed to their many diseases. The Egyptians had diseases that the Children of Israel feared. God said that if they turned away from keeping His commands, He would bring upon them the diseases of Egypt that they feared. We are seeing some of the same diseases that the Egyptians had occurring today.
God’s Judgment on America – Obesity: “Eat and not be Satisfied“
To eat and not be satisfied is also part of God’s judgment on America and the world today. The food is lacking in minerals, oil, and life sustaining nutrients. People eat, but the amount of food that should satisfy does not satisfy the hunger. Therefore, they eat more and gain weight. There is a growing concern about obesity among children. In 2012 the US government mandated a restriction on the size and the content of school lunches to try to combat the obesity problem, not realizing the real cause of the problem.
Micah 6:13-16 “Therefore also will I make thee sick in smiting thee, in making thee desolate because of thy sins. Thou shalt eat, but not be satisfied; and thy casting down shall be in the midst of thee; and thou shalt take hold, but shalt not deliver; and that which thou deliverest will I give up to the sword. Thou shalt sow, but thou shalt not reap; thou shalt tread the olives, but thou shalt not anoint thee with oil; and sweet wine, but shalt not drink wine. For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and ye walk in their counsels; that I should make thee a desolation, and the inhabitants thereof an hissing: therefore ye shall bear the reproach of my people.”
- God tells us that in His punishment, people will eat and the food will not satisfy. This happened to God’s people, not some another ungodly nation.
- The name Omri is ironic. Omri was the sixth king in ancient Israel. Today, the term OMRI stands for the Organic Materials Review Institute, which regulates what can be used in organic food production and what cannot. While the Organic Materials Review Institute is not what God is addressing in this passage, there is a parallel here. People are following the organic statutes and counsel, but organic food alone does not give a person health or truly satisfy. Much of it is “garbage” nutritionally and lacking in calcium and other minerals, just like the conventional grocery store food.
Hosea 4:10 “For they shall eat, and not have enough: they shall commit whoredom, and shall not increase: because they have left off to take heed to the LORD.”
- Again God tells us that in His punishment, people will eat and the food will not satisfy. It will not be enough.
Hunger and Obesity, a seemingly strange combination
The statistics show that starting in 1980, when America further rejected God that hunger and the obesity epidemic rapidly increased.
Hunger and obesity is a seemingly strange combination. One would think that those who suffer from hunger and a lack of sufficient food would look thin and gaunt, but that is not often the case here in America. Instead, those who suffer hunger and food insecurity are often overweight or obese! The cheapest calories are processed foods that are high in sugar and carbohydrates that make people put on weight, but do not provide sufficient nutrition. For example, generic brand soda is cheap and provides a lot of calories, but it is severely lacking in nutrition. Fresh, unprocessed, and healthy foods are often unavailable in poorer communities or are expensive. As a result, many people who suffer hunger may be overweight or obese.
The traditional local full service grocery store has been declining as Walmart Supercenters and other large corporation mega grocery stores have taken over. Many people now have to travel a half hour to over an hour to a store to be able to buy fresh fruits and vegetables and unprocessed meats. In the place of the local grocery store has arisen Dollar General type stores and gas station convenience “grocery stores” that only sell processed foods. As the access to healthy foods declines, the health of people will also decline.
Hunger Statistics
- “According to sociology professor Janet Poppendieck, hunger within the US was widely considered to be a solved problem until the mid-1960s.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Food_bank#cite_ref-sweet_11-0
- The first food bank was started in 1967 in Phoenix, AZ. Since then there has been a rapid increase in food banks and food pantries. https://web.archive.org/web/20111015031147/http://www.foodbanking.org/site/PageServer?pagename=foodbanking_history
- As of 2018 there are over 60,000 food pantries in the US that distribute food to those who are food insecure. https://www.feedingamerica.org/our-work/food-bank-network
According to the Why Hunger website:
- “41.2 million Americans are food insecure, meaning they are often forced to skip meals, eat less at meals, buy cheap non-nutritious food and/or feed their children but not themselves.
- 9 million children in the US are food insecure.
- There are 6 million U.S. households suffering from food insecurity– 12.7 percent of all U.S households.
- Among SNAP households with children, more than 60 percent of work while receiving SNAP, and almost 90 percent are employed the prior or subsequent year. SNAP helps Americans return to work, and increasingly, it helps those who already work, but do not receive a sufficient wage to feed themselves or their families.
- Many families suffering from hunger and poverty live in areas where fresh, unprocessed, healthy food is not available or is expensive, while the food they do have access to is nutritionally deficient.
Note the distinct change in obesity rates starting in 1980 in both of the following charts:
Jesus taught us to pray before a meal and thank God for our food and to ask Him to bless it. When the American government banned prayer in public schools, they discouraged acknowledging God as the true source of our food and health. Instead of God, the government became the provider of food for the poor and needy. The government’s attempt to replace God as the provider of food and health has proved to be a failure. In spite of all their attempts to solve the problem, the problem continues to get worse. The solution is not to add even more food pantries and more money for government food programs, but to repent of rejecting God and instead look to Him as the true source of our food and health.
God’s Judgment on America – Glyphosate/Roundup
The herbicide, Roundup was introduced in 1974 one year after abortion was made legal, and it has had a significant impact on the health of many people. It is one of the “silent” judgments on America for abortion and other sins of our country that many have not recognized. Glyphosate is the main ingredient in Roundup. Many professing Christian farmers use glyphosate on their land and their crops, not realizing what they are doing to the health of others. Glyphosate is not neutralized and made inactive when it comes in contact with the soil like we were originally told. Instead, Glyphosate chelates with (bonds to) minerals in the soil and keeps them from being available to the plants. Those minerals are then lacking in the food that we eat resulting in many people having poor health.
Glyphosate is also an antibiotic which destroys gut bacteria. Dr. Arden Anderson says: “One common thing I see show up in people with inflammatory bowel disorders is the lack of lactobacillus and bifidobacteria colonizing the gut, even in people taking probiotics. One could ask whether these people are taking viable probiotic products. It seems to matter little what brand or colony count these people ingest, they still aren’t surviving. Something is killing the beneficial flora.
“Enter glyphosate. More and more we find glyphosate residue in the food, especially in grains directly sprayed with glyphosate. Glyphosate is a potent antibiotic as documented by its August 10, 2010 U.S. patent. Even at doses hundreds of times less than that in agricultural sprays, glyphosate is a potent antibiotic against beneficial gut flora, specifically lactobacillus and bifidobacteria. This may very well be the underlying cause of colony collapse disorder in bees as the recent research shows the sick bees to be void of lactobacillus and bifidobacteria.
“Our first approach for healing the gut of people with inflammatory bowel disorder is to get them off their reactive foods, especially off grains. Grains are both inherently inflammatory in these people and loaded with glyphosate if commercially grown. Once this inflammatory cascade is halted we can then get healing of the gut with aloe vera, amino acids, minerals, probiotics and oils. It can be a fairly rapid recovery, weeks, or months depending upon the patient and their adherence to their dietary requirements.”
http://www.abcplus.biz/Categories.aspx?Id=GMO_5-6-13_Glyphosate-and-Gut-Issues
Basically all non-organic foods and drinks that one purchases in grocery stores or at restaurants are likely contaminated with the glyphosate antibiotic. According to a report in 2018, scientists from the FDA found glyphosate in nearly every common food in the US. https://nypost.com/2018/04/30/pesticide-linked-to-cancer-is-in-nearly-every-us-food-report/
Glyphosate and other farm chemicals are also present in a lot of well water and other drinking water. Most water filtration systems can’t remove all of the glyphosate if it is present in the water.
Pork
God declared pork in the Old Testament to be an unclean food. In the New Testament, pork consumption is permitted. However, Americans and many Christians don’t just eat an occasional small amount of pork, they eat a lot of pork. Pork consumption is part of the cause of cancer in people. In the fall of 2015, the World Health Organization put eating bacon, ham, sausage, and hot dogs in the same category of cancer risk as tobacco smoking and asbestos.
God’s Judgment on America: the Honey Bee – The Canary in the Coal Mine
God tells us in the Bible that the honey bee is part of His blessing on a country. The Bible indicates that there was an abundance of honey bees in the Land of Canaan, because it says that it was a land flowing with milk and honey. God also said that an abundance of honey bees and abundant honey is the glory of all lands: “In the day that I lifted up mine hand unto them, to bring them forth of the land of Egypt into a land that I had espied for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands.” (Ezekiel 20:6)
The honey bee is classified as “livestock” by the US Department of Agriculture. It has the shortest lifespan of any livestock raised in agriculture today, with a worker bee only living about five to seven weeks. Because of the short lifespan of the honey bee, we can see effects of God’s judgment on the soil much sooner than the effects in a human being that lives 80 years. The honey bee is like a canary in a coal mine.
In the mid-1980’s the varroa mite, a parasite that kills bees, was discovered in the US. The mite quickly spread across the US. The mites made beekeeping much more difficult and expensive and many beekeepers quit keeping bees. It became almost impossible for hives of honey bees to survive without drugs (medical assistance) to control the mites. Most of the wild bees died off. In recent years, there has been an increasing widespread resistance to the chemicals beekeepers use to control mites within the hive. New virus species have also been found in the U.S.
In 2006, a new phenomenon occurred. About 30% of the honey bees died off in a mystery disease that was called Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD). Scientists have not been able to determine the cause of CCD. Each year since then, about 30% of the bee hives have died off each winter. Beekeepers have gone into survival mode trying to raise enough new bees each year to make up for the losses. Many bees have been imported into the US as well, to replace losses. The winter of 2012/2013 saw the largest die off of honey bees ever. The National Beekeeper of the Year lost 70% of his bee colonies. The largest beekeepers in Pennsylvania and New York State both lost 70% of their bee colonies. Many small beekeepers lost all of their bees.
The honey bee is another indicator that God’s judgment on the land increased in the 1980’s and has increased even more in recent years. The United States is no longer a land flowing with honey. Much of the honey sold in the United States is imported and a significant amount of it is fake honey.
God’s Judgment on America – Foolish Laws
We are increasingly seeing the federal, state and local governments here in the US passing many foolish laws and government leaders doing foolish things. That is not just happening by chance. God tells us in the following passage that part of His judgment on a country is causing them to pass laws that are not good, and the court system passing judgments that harm people’s lives.
“…because they had not executed my judgments, but had despised my statutes, and had polluted my sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers’ idols. Wherefore I gave them also statutes that were not good, and judgments whereby they should not live; And I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused to pass through the fire all that openeth the womb, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am the LORD.” (Ezekiel 20:24-26)
Some of the foolish laws are:
- Free trade agreements with other countries that have benefited the other countries and caused millions of jobs to go overseas.
- Approving GMO foods, vaccines, and agricultural chemicals without adequate testing first.
- Protection of vaccine companies from lawsuits when children die or are harmed by the vaccines.
- Gun control laws that do not address the real problem.
This passage indicates that abortion also is part of God’s judgment to reduce the population in America. This explains why Christians have not been able to stop abortion. They have been fighting against God’s judgment on America. God is in the process of causing America to become desolate, in part, through the millions of babies that have been aborted. Social Security is quickly running out of money as the Baby Boom generation retires and the millions of aborted babies have not grown up to pay into Social Security and Medicare. It is likely that many boomer generation old people will die because they will not be able to afford medical care.
This is not a complete list or explanation of God’s judgment on America. There is much much more that has been happening that is part of God’s judgment.
God’s Judgment on America Intertwined with Farmer’s Woes
By Gerald Carlin, Letter to the editor, Lancaster Farming Newspaper January 13, 2018 (Some additional content has been added from a copy of the original letter that Carlin gave me)
“Many farmers today may be trying to figure out how we have gotten into such a seemingly, hopeless mess. We have lost all power in the marketplace.
“Farmers are without a doubt more efficient than ever, fewer in number than ever, and more broke than ever, in body and spirit, as well as financially.
“To add insult to injury our elected officials, who claim to want to hear from constituents, steadfastly ignore concerns of their constituents who happen to be farmers.
“How have farmers become so marginalized? Detrimental public policies have been proposed and promoted by academics and powerful people for decades. Two major policy papers closely followed, perhaps coincidentally, two very important Supreme Court Rulings.
“On June 25, 1962, the US Supreme Court banned organized prayer and Bible reading in public schools. In July 1962, the Committee for Economic Development (CED) made up of some 200 corporate executives, economists, and other distinguished experts (not one farmer) released An Adaptive Program for Agriculture with a stated goal of reducing the farming population by one third within five years.
“The report complained about wasted resources in farming, particularly labor, as technology increased productivity in agriculture and the large public expenditures for vocational training for young farmers in public schools.
“It proposed a policy of actively discouraging young people from getting into farming as well as actively trying to coax existing farmers to exit agriculture and even proposed public funds be spent to assist farmers in moving expenses to relocate their families off of the farm.
“Kenneth E. Boulding, Ag Economist with the Department of Economics at the University of Michigan and member of the research advisory board for the CED stated the following: “The only way I know to get toothpaste out of a tube is to squeeze, and the only way to get people out of agriculture is likewise to squeeze agriculture. If the toothpaste is thin, you don’t squeeze very hard, on the other hand, if the toothpaste is thick, you have to put real pressure on it. If you can’t get people out of agriculture easily, you are going to have to do farmers severe injustice in order to solve the problem of allocation.” Although this quote does not appear in the text of An Adaptive Program for Agriculture, the sentiment is still evident.
“The sentiment expressed by these distinguished experts was that farmers were merely disposable pawns in an economic plan. If the inefficient farmers would just leave farming, the farmers who are left will prosper. Efficient farmers will produce food more cheaply, people will spend less money for food, leaving more disposable income to spend on consumer goods, which will cause economic growth and increase income for all, or so the theory goes. Of course, consumer food prices have continued to rise even as farmers get less and less of the retail dollar.
“There were 1.1 million farms with dairy cows in the United States in 1964, 600,000 in 1969, and some 40,000 today, so those who are left are really prospering, right?
“Oh wait, they are struggling more than ever before. Obviously there are still too many. You get the point.
“The official belief that there are too many farmers has grown and become entrenched in public policy evidencing itself in numerous ways, not the least of which are burdensome and senseless regulations on many fronts. Technology, including patented GMO and Terminator seeds, limits farmers’ ability to preserve seeds while increasing the power and control of corporate seed giants. Food additives extend yields of “food” with less raw product. Irradiation and Ultra-pasteurization, along with other questionable practices, ruin the real nutrition of food while extending shelf life. The list could be endless, but the goal is to put food under corporate control, with as few farmers as possible. This, of course, is called ‘progress’.
“The belief that farmers are not important is evidenced in the attitudes and actions of both milk co-ops and processors as they believe that they are turning worthless raw product into something of value (Some believe that milk has no value until it is at least pasteurized). Dairy farmers are lucky that the milk truck stops at the farm, takes the hazardous material, and actually pays them for it. No wonder farmers are strapped with paying ‘make allowances’ to insure that the processor can make a profit, and of course, farmers have to pay the hauling charges, advertising fees, and all other appropriate fees, as a co-op or processor sees fit. Countless rural communities that rely on agriculture and provide Ag-related services have been decimated. Social impacts are obvious.
“In January 1973, the US Supreme Court legalized abortion. In April 1973, Agricultural Trade and the Proposed Round of Multilateral Negotiations so known as the Flanigan Report was published.
“This document basically sought the elimination of any and all protections and trade barriers for farmers domestically and worldwide. It was their dream and goal that eventually no country on earth would be able to offer any special protections for their farmers.
“Farmers would be forced to be ‘efficient’ and would no longer be able to be such a pesky, if not powerful, lobbying force in Washington, DC, or any other country in the world.
“Eventually through a number of trade agreements, negotiated by ‘esteemed’ and unaccountable experts, the farmer has essentially lost all protections and all rights to seek redress of wrongs because international trade agreements supersede farmers’ rights and domestic food policy. Politicians can throw their hands in the air and declare that there is nothing that they can do, or, as most have chosen, just ignore the concerns of farmers, because, after all, there are more important issues to deal with and more important people to talk to.
“The reason that I mention two Supreme Court rulings is simple. Scripture says, “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.” Proverbs 14:34.
“God’s judgment on our nation for turning our backs on Him takes many forms, mostly, I believe, by letting foolish policy run its course.
“Agricultural policy is not something that would typically be mentioned in connection with God’s judgment. Certainly, other moral depravity and policies that protect it have led to great public expense and debt.
“I hate to close without a solution.
“Certainly, we can humble ourselves and pray, seeking God’s wisdom, as we exercise our Constitutional right to protect our private property and fulfill our duty to support and sustain life.
“If our nation supports life, I believe it will value farmers. If our nation encourages death, it will continue to devalue farmers.”
God’s Judgment on America – Creative Destruction of Farms
The following are excerpts from an article I wrote 10 years previous to Carlin’s letter:
“When I (Myron) was young, the United States produced a lot of extra food that was exported to many countries. The U.S. was called the breadbasket of the world. But times have changed. The number of farms have decreased, population has increased and we now import almost 50% of our food. What has perplexed me is that the government doesn’t seem to care that each year we have to import a greater portion of our food. Part of our national security is our ability to produce our own food and not have to rely on other countries for our food. There are many things we can live without, but we can’t live without food.
“Recently, I found out the reason why farms have been declining in America. It is part of financial engineering by the Federal Reserve in an attempt to create a higher standard of living for Americans. The economic theory is called “Creative Destruction”. The philosophy of creative destruction also explains why the U.S. government changed regulations for domestic manufacturing and clothing factories so that it became too costly to produce their products in the U.S. The result has been that most of our manufacturing segment has moved oversees.
“Before we go any further, I want to make it clear that the concept of creative destruction is not a conspiracy theory of someone speculating on the motives of the Federal Reserve. It is a philosophy that the Fed has clearly stated it is using. The following are former Federal Reserve chairman Alan Greenspan’s own words from a speech given on Oct. 21, 2007:
“We have been doing things different for quite a long period of years. And many of them turned out to be awful. So I think that the issue always rests in capitalist market economy which as you point out has its roots and its necessities in creative destruction because remember it is only creative destruction that creates higher standards of living.
“Because by definition creative destruction is essentially moving the capital from less productive obsolescent industries to cutting edge technology related industries and by definition the moving a body of capital from the low output per man hour type industries to higher man hour output industries and that obviously raises the average and its only the average increase in productivity which generates higher standards of living…

“Richard Fisher, president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, in a speech to the governors of the southern states, said the following:
“’The destructive side of capitalism’s creative destruction is evident in lost jobs. Let me share a few numbers for the states you govern. The number of workers in apparel manufacturing in your states decreased 80 percent between 1990 and 2005. In the same 15-year period, payrolls fell 18 percent at paper manufacturers and 15 percent for furniture makers. The number of farm workers decreased 6 percent, and the number of mine workers declined 5 percent. That is pretty painful stuff. And it is not ancient history. It all occurred within a time frame that is fresh in the memory of everyone in this room—between 1990 and 2005.
“’And yet, despite these employment losses, each state in the Southern region now has a larger job base than it did in 1990. North Carolina, for example, has created 1 million net new jobs since 1990. Texas’ employment has risen by more than 3 million since 1990.
“’Why? Because the creative side of creative destruction outpaced the destructive side. Your economies replaced lost jobs in declining sectors with new ones in emerging, higher-value-added sectors. Between 1990 and 2005, the number of data processing and Internet service provider workers in Southern states increased 65 percent. Professional services workers grew 63 percent. Financial services employees increased 31 percent. Retail employment grew 23 percent. By 2005, the financial and real estate services sectors employed as many Southern workers as the manufacturing sector. Lodging and food services accounted for the same share of the Southern workforce as construction.
“’Health care sector employment in the South alone grew by 2.3 million from 1990 to 2005. Let me put that in perspective: For every manufacturing job lost in the Southern states between 1990 and 2005, the health care sector created 2.4 new jobs.’ http://www.dallasfed.org/news/speeches/fisher/2007/fs070825.cfm
“Time will tell if creative destruction is the greatest thing the Federal Reserve ever did, or if it will turn out, to use Alan Greenspan’s words, ‘to be awful’. There are a number of questions that come to my mind. Is creative destruction sustainable in the long run when we give up industries, food and clothing that are basic necessities of life? If creative destruction is sustainable, why do we need 2.4 new health care workers for every manufacturing job that was lost? Is our health decreasing so fast from eating cheap food that we need that many more health care workers? Do politicians really believe that increasing the health care industry is more sustainable for the US economy in the long run than producing food?”
Conclusion on God’s Judgment on America
God is not mocked. The government and technology are not supreme. Politics will not solve our problems. God has been bringing judgment upon America because of our country’s rejection of Him as God. His judgment will continue and will intensify in the years ahead unless we repent. The only way to escape God’s judgment is for America to repent of rejecting God, to keep Christ’s commands, to look to Him as the true provider of food and health, and to ask God to show us what to eat and to do to escape His judgment and to have true health.
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land (soil).” (2 Chronicles 7:14)
Why Biblical Research Reports uses the KJV
When I started in-depth Bible research, I was using the NIV translation. I was not prepared for the deception and misguiding information that I found coming from Christian scholars. I did extensive research into Bible translations and into the Greek manuscripts themselves that the various versions are translated from.
I soon realized that the most significant subject facing the Church today is the Bible, what version is used and preached from, the Greek text it is translated from, and the way it is translated. Every Christian doctrine is based on the Bible. The way the Bible reads, the words that it has and the words that it does not have, the way the Greek words are translated or poorly translated, all affect the beliefs and teachings of the Church. At one point I thought that most translations of the Bible were basically the same except for the modernization of the old English in the KJV. This is not the case. Most of the modern translations do not have everything that the KJV does, as a result of changes in the Greek texts from which they are translated. In addition, significant changes have to be made in each new Bible version in order to copyright it. As a result of that research, I switched to the KJV.
